New Scholarship by Slovak Republic Government. Slovak Republic Bilateral Scholarship for International Students 2021-2022, is open at different Slovakia Universities. It is an International Scholarship offered by The Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic.
The Government of the Slovak Republic has announced an International Scholarship Program (Bilateral Scholarships) for international students from different parts of the world to support their education. This Slovak Government Scholarship 2021/2022 is offered by The Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic to support the academic year 2021/2022 of foreign students from different countries based on different bilateral agreements(between different governments/ministries).
The International Scholarship is available to pursue different Undergraduate / Bachelors, Masters & Ph.D. level program(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at different Slovakia Universities. This Scholarship will not be awarded for the complete course of studies that leading to a degree (unless stated otherwise in the term/agreement).
The Scholarships duration is about 3 to 10 months normally. The Categories of different eligible nationals like students on Undergraduate / Masters / Ph.D./ Researchers/Teachers as well as other courses depend upon the agreement concerned. It is a partially funded scholarship that will support different funding support at each degree level.

Expenses that will be covered by Slovak Republic Government Scholarships:
- Students (bachelor/master level): 280 € per month.
- Ph.D. students: 330 € per month.
- University teachers or researchers: 550 € per month.

Eligibility Criteria For Slovak Republic Government Scholarship:
Candidates must fulfill the following criteria to available at the Slovak Government Scholarship for International Students, for their study at different Slovak universities.
Scholarships of the Slovak Government are awarded to applicants nominated by the competent authorities of eligible countries only. National authorities (of Slovak Government Scholarships) are maybe education ministries or/and respective agencies of the home country.

Applications of this International Scholarship are sent by individual applicants/students directly to the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic.
Documents Required For Apply:
The application form for the Slovak Government Scholarship shall be filled in Slovak (alternatively Czech) language or the applicant may use English. Supporting documents as listed and requested at the end of the application form shall be provided in one of those languages only.
The nominated candidate shall propose 2 scholarships periods in the application form (one preferred, and one alternative)
- Motivation Letter
- detail about study, teaching, or research program proposal,
- Invitation Letter/ Acceptance Letter by the host institution.
- Recommendation Letters:Undergraduate / Masters Students: 2 Recommendations Letters from university teachers
- Ph.D. Students: 1 recommendation from the Ph.D. thesis supervisor,
- University teachers and researchers: 1 Recommendation Letter from the Head of the Department of the home university or by the leader of the research group, etc.
- In the case of Ph.D. Students, University Teachers, and Researchers: Must provide own list of publications related to the research program.
- Photo (size 3,5 cm x 4 cm – passport-style photo).
